Global Meetings

Global Logistics Meeting (GLM), June 2025

The Global Logistics Meeting (GLM) is scheduled to take place online over two full days, on 17–18 June 2025.

This year marks 20 years of responding together through the Global Logistics Cluster. The upcoming GLM will provide an opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements, evaluate our current position in light of the big changes in the sector, and align on future priorities. The meeting will serve as a platform for discussing how we can collectively adapt and prioritize based on our collective needs.

Global Logistics Meeting, September-November 2024

Global Logistics Meetings (GLM) are organized by the Logistics Cluster twice a year and bring together representatives from partner organisations involved in humanitarian logistics responses. These meetings are a common forum for strategic discussions on the Logistics Cluster and provide an opportunity to discuss relevant operations, collect feedback from partner organisations on Logistics Cluster performance, and present new initiatives and projects relevant to the field of humanitarian logistics. This GLM will be held in hybrid modality and builds on the topics discussed in the previous two meetings, including advocacy and preparedness, ensuring country and global level perspectives are taken into consideration, working towards possible solutions and best practices.

Global Meeting Rome 2024

The upcoming Global Logistics Meeting (GLM) in May 2024 is scheduled for Tuesday to Thursday next week (21 – 23 May) in Rome. 60-70 Logistics Cluster partners and global heads of humanitarian supply chain and logistics will come together to go through an agenda with topics designed to spark discussions and collaborative brainstorming sessions. The primary objective of this meeting is to have open interactions and gain common in-depth insight into topics that are relevant for logistics coordination. The meeting will build on the discussions from the two GLMs held in 2023 which introduced a refocus on Logistics Cluster activities that are within mandate, address field requirements and align with the core values (June 2023). The last GLM in November spanned 11 countries and highlighted the challenges and needs from the field.

Global Logistics Meeting (GLM) - November, 2023 (Hybrid)

As requested by partner, this year's GLM will be held on 28 - 30 November 2023 in hybrid modality through online discussions and in-person meetings. The meeting aims to connect humanitarian supply chain managers and logisticians to share logistics knowledge and academic research at the global level. The GLM will provide a platform to discuss challenges and potential solutions, in addition to networking with colleagues.
