The Relief Item Tracking Application, or RITA, is currently under development. It is based on previous tracking tools, previous emergency operations, consultation with the staff in the field, and on lessons learned through the development of the Logistics Cluster Tracking Tool (LCTT).

RITA will allow commodity tracking to take place across multiple sites, and will be available over the internet.

An early release of RITA is expected by the end of 2009.
