Highlights

  • The findings from UNJLC’s Logistics Services & Coordination Survey were disseminated. Copies of the report are available from UNJLC (sudan@unjlc.org).
  • UNJLC, with the kind assistance of UNMIS, has announced an air cargo common transport service from Khartoum to Wau to assist in providing relief items for the current Abyei crisis. Interested parties are invited to contact sudan@unjlc.org for additional information.
  • Fuel prices in Darfur have risen significantly over the last month, as supplies are constrained due to insecurity. Prices in Geneina specifically have reached 5.81 SDG/Liter for petrol and 3.96 SDG/Liter.
