• There were heavy showers reported again this week in all around Benadir, Lower Shabelle, Middle Juba and lower Juba which interrupted the movement of trucks throughout this week with exception of last two days (25 & 26 of June 08).
   This made all main roads inaccessible especially the road ex Mogadishu to Jowhar and Kismayo.
• The road between Balcad and Jowhar is inaccessible due to the torrential rains in the area.
• Elsewhere in Somaliland Shower rains were reported in the following areas:
  Awdal region: at Borama area on 18/6, north-west region: at Sheikh and south west of Awbarkhadle on 19/6 and 25/06 respectively.

   However both major and feeder roads remained accessible.

• There were two minor food related security incidents this week of which took place inside Mogadishu city (near the port).
