Reminder for all those seeking to use minor airstrips to kindly ensure completing the Minor Airfield Request Form 

Minor airfields are all excluding:

Kismayo
Jowhar
Wajid
K50
Mogadishu
Bossaso
Hargeisa

An Agency requesting clearance to use a “Minor Airstrip” is responsible for ensuring that all security and reception arrangements are carried out. The senior staff member on the mission appointed as “in charge” for security matters may be held responsible for any lapse in security procedures.  This form is to be sent to UNDSS-Somalia (copy to UNCAS) at least TWO working days before the planned mission.
