The training material posted on this page is meant as a guideline for implementation of a Warehouse Management in Emergencies training. The training must have a minimum of two facilitators with strong communication and logistics skills.

The Warehouse Management in Emergencies training is a four-days classroom based training for government staff and partners at all levels providing an understanding of best practices for managing warehouses in emergency operations.

The objective of this training, with the support of presentations, discussions, case studies, group exercises, and small assignments, is to equip participants, both government staff and/or field level partners, with an understanding on all operational, planning, maintenance, food quality control, documentation, and staff/equipment related aspects of how to manage a warehouse during emergencies.
