1. HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Bangkok Logistics Cluster meeting will be tomorrow Thursday 5th June at 11.00 hours
  • The MI8 completed the third day of operations in the Delta region today

2.  CLUSTER ACTIVITIES UPDATES:

  • Operations for the loading of the barge for Labutta continued today in Yangon. The barge will be carrying:

Food                         93 mt
Early Recovery         10 mt
Logistics                     3 mt

  • The Cluster expects the arrival of the CLAUDIA vessel for tomorrow (5th June) at Bo Aung Kyay Port in Yangon with 400 mt of rice for WFP and NFIs.
  • Cargo dispatched by the Logistics Cluster from 20th May to 4th June:

3. AIR OPERATIONS:

  • The MI8 completed the third day of operation delivering 2 mt of WFP rice and 0.5 tons of HEBs to Kuang Phyar.
  • Flights planned to arrive Yangon today: (see document attached)


4. LOGISTICS HUBS:

Pyapon: 480 sqm operational (240 sqm dedicated to CARE and 1,600 sqm under construction)
Bogale: 1,200 sqm operational (240 sqm dedicated to UNICEF, 240 to WFP, 240 to IOM) 720 sqm under construction
Mawlanyaingyun:  2,000 sqm available in MAPT w/h
Labutta:  1,120 sqm (240 sqm dedicated to UNICEF, 560 to WFP, 380 available)
Pathein:  1,200 sqm under negotiation
