  • At 11.30 hours the Logistics Cluster received a request from the Logistics Cluster hub manager in Bogale. A local NGO requested him to assist to provide a medevac of a small child in hospital - who required urgent treatment at a better equipped hospital (as yesterday - a case of Dengue haemorrhagic fever). We had two helos flying out of Bogale. One - UN36W - was still in theatre completing cargo rotations. After contacting the authorities at the central and district levels, the Logistics Cluster received approval to action the medevac request at 12.30 hours.
