Passenger booking procedures in Myanmar

Aviation fixed wings and Helicopters, Airfields & Airports, Fleet and Commercial sector related information

The UN WFP chartered helicopters have as primary tasks the transportation of cargo as per the communicated priorities. However, when possible passengers are accommodated on these flights, and one helicopter per day is now dedicated to passenger transport. Within those, priority will always be given to passengers who are accompanying cargo for distribution and monitoring.

Organizations are requested to note that the focal point list must be signed and forwarded to WFP aviation before any passengers requests are made, and the procedures must also be signed/stamped and submitted. The e-tickets received upon flight confirmation should be presented upon check-in for the flight. Passenger reporting time is 07:00 at MIA counter of the domestic terminal at Yangon airport. Passenger requests must be made before 12:00 the day before the flight, however due to high demand advance booking is recommended.
