Logistics Cluster Situation Report - 21st November

Keypoints

  • The sixth humanitarian relief convoy (Convoy 06) successfully delivered 665MT of food into the Vanni region.
  • Convoy 06 departed on Friday 21st November at 10:15 am and returned to the Inter Agency Logistics Hub on Saturday 22nd November at 16:05 pm.
  • Although the initial plan was 52 trucks with 752 MT of Mixed food and 2 trucks of NFRI items, due to one UN Truck breaking down in Colombo, unavailability of commercially contracted trucks, the convoy was reduced to 46 trucks.
  • Due to the security reason movement to Mulliavalai from Oddusuddan restricted. This resulted in a change of plan and the offloading took place in PTK.
