This two day Workshop will cover two products developed by UNJLC, i.e. the Customs Information Guide (CIG), and transport infrastructure assessment procedures (part of the UN Spatial Data Infrastructure).

This two day Workshop will cover two products developed by UNJLC, i.e. the Customs Information Guide (CIG), and transport infrastructure assessment procedures (part of the UN Spatial Data Infrastructure).

At the UNJLC/WFP Logistics Cluster Meetings held in Copenhagen in September, a number of agencies expressed interest in learning more about these systems, and gaining the expertise to use them in the field. The December Workshop in Neuhausen will include demonstrations of the tools as well as practical training. The presentations/trainings will be followed by group discussions on the importance of using standardised terminology for logistics data and up to date Customs Information.
