Loading of trucks at the Logistics Cluster’s JAD Warehouse in Kissweh Damascus, for the Joint Humanitarian Convoy to Idleb Governorate (13 May)

In February 2013, the Logistics Cluster, in collaboration with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and OCHA, organised the first inter-agency convoy in Syria. This convoy consisted of 6 trucks laden with urgent relief items from Damascus to Atmeh; this convoy was the result of strong cooperation and coordination between 6 UN agencies to reach vulnerable Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) on the Turkish border.
