As on-going insecurity and border clashes continue, and the rainy season begins, much of Upper Nile, Unity, Jonglei, Northern Bar El Ghazal, Western Bar El Ghazal, and Warrap States in South Sudan are cut off and are unable to receive necessary life-saving relief items. The Logistics Cluster, in coordination with our humanitarian partners, had identified this potential gap in the transport network and pre-positioned three helicopters that are now able to quickly respond to this emergency.
