Since 6 March, a logistics sector support team has been supporting humanitarian organisations in Tunisia responding to the Libya crisis.

The team has been present at both the Libya-Tunisia border and in Zarzis. Here we see the team erecting a mobile storage unit (MSU) at Choucha Camp, to be used for storage of relief items and logistics equipment (including two additional MSUs) in preparation for dispatch to Libya.

The logistics support team has also been bringing humanitarian organisations together for regular logistics sector meetings and has trained 60 Tunisian Red Crescent staff on logistics supply chain and warehouse management.
