Stockpile mapping
The Humanitarian Response Review recommended to “expand global mapping of relief stocks through which agencies are to report on quantity, values, geographical positioning, availability and access” of stockpiles of relief goods.
The directory of emergency stockpiles of disaster relief items was established to enable UN agencies, intergovernmental, governmental and nongovernmental organizations to quickly identify and contact appropriate authorities, which could provide the required relief items
