The United Nations Joint Logistic Center (UNJLC) is an inter-agency Humanitarian Common Service. Its mandate is to facilitate and support the coordination of logistics capabilities among co-operating humanitarian partners, as well as support the Global and Field Logistics Cluster through the provision of:


UNJLC Activities:

  • Information Management and Geographic Information System (GIS),
  • Commodities tracking,
  • Prioritization of cargo,
  • Compilation of available logistics information from various sources,
  • Information sharing and dissemination trough various media and format.

UNJLC operates under the custodianship of WFP which is responsible for the administrative and financial oversight. UNJLC is funded from voluntary contributions channelled through WFP.
